Known for her crisp and intentional style, Alyssa has carved a space for herself in both the photography and interiors world by pioneering a new business model. When collaborating with designers across the country, Alyssa acts as both the photographer and the stylist on set. After the final frame, she becomes an advocate for her clients, bridging the gap between marketing and editorial. It’s this commitment to carrying her projects and clients through every stage of production that made her a leader in the industry, making names for her clients as well as herself.
As the founder of “The New Southern” movement, Alyssa’s mission is to inspire others to live courageously in their light every day and to lean whole-heartedly into their creativity, by highlighting those in and from the South creating work that unites, inspires, and empowers. The New Southern is focused on community, creativity and connection. It’s a study in filling homes with light, love, and substance, not stuffiness and pretense. The New Southern takes on print form with the debut of Alyssa’s first book, due out via Abrams in fall 2020. Sign up here for Alyssa’s newsletter to get the latest updates and sneak peeks.
